Online workshops: Guidance document for the safe management of hazardous medicinal products at work

A consortium led by RPA is developing a Guidance document for the safe management of hazardous medicinal products at work (HMPs), under contract to the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL). The aim of the document is to provide practical advice on the prevention and management of occupational exposure to HMPs.

As a part of the project, they are organising a series of online workshops to gather stakeholders’ views on the potential structure and contents of the guidance document, including the specific practices and measures that will be recommended in the document. The workshop schedule can be found here.

A background paper for each of the lifecycle stages will be provided to all registered attendees approximately a week before each workshop.

At the end of the study, the study team will share your contact details with the European Commission to enable them to tell people about the new guidance when it is launched. There is no guarantee of confidentiality of data when it is no longer held by the study team. Please email HMPguidance@rpaltd.co.uk if you do not want your contact details to be shared with the European Commission.
